PLF - Distance TWO

_{Terrowin lunged at Ulric with the knife, his brainwashed-blood-thirst kicking in.
"Not so fast, Little Blade!!" Ulric laughed, swiftly twisting to the side of the sharp weapon. Already unable to stop himself Terrowin plummeted forward, then felt the force of Ulric's elbow between his shoulder blades. He snarled in pain as his arms jerked, causing the knife to drop and himself to fall flat on his face. Within seconds he found himself straddled by the older boy, a hand pressing his bruised face to the dirt and another pinning his wrists into restraint.
He thrashed, still within the mindset of kill that had been drilled so religiously into him back at the Guild.
But then, with an all too soothing voice, he found himself being slowly brought back to earth. "You are a defender, Little Blade..." Ulric soothed gently "You are not a killer...Not a man of hatred and anger.... You are a man of love and protection... You were born for greatness... Not darkness.." He continued, feeling the child relax below him "Remember that, child. And don't let those chains bind you..."}
